Former Bantam Simon Eastwood signs for Bradford (Park Avenue)

Former Bantams loanee Simon Eastwood has signed for Blue Square Bet North newcomers Bradford (Park Avenue). The 22-year-old keeper spent last season at neighbours FC Halifax town, but manager Neil Aspin decided not offer him a new contract . The former England U18 and U19 International joined Bradford City on loan from neighbours Huddersfield Town at the start of the 2009/10 season until the end of the year. He went onto play for us 28 times before Stuart McCall sent him back to the Galpharm Stadium.

Finally when I was reading this story I noticed that it also mentioned that That the Jordan Deacey (the son of the Park Avenue manager) was being looked at by several League clubs and that he had been invited for trials……..I wonder if one of those trials is at Valley Parade?
