Former Nottingham Forest striker Nialle Rodney is set to join the growing ranks of trialists down at City’s training ground in the morning. The 20-year-old was released by the Championship side this month after only making 3 sub appearances for the club. He also had a loan period at Burton Albion last season but he clearly didn’t figure in new manager Steve McClaren’s plans.
Nialle tweeted on his twitter account: “Down in Bradford for a few days to train with city looking forward to see what its like“
Good luck, Dave.
He played a few games last season and looked very promising. Billy Davis released him for some reason, not sure why. But you have a young talent on your hands.
all the best nialle you was the best coming throught the Nottingham Forest acadmey.
