Australian, Hyundai A-league side Central Coast Mariners have signed former City keeper Paul Henderson on a short-term injury replacement deal, following a knee injury to their first choice keeper earlier today.
The Aussie keeper joined City on trial in July 2004 after an unsuccessful trial with Blackpool. A month later he signed a deal to keep him at Valley Parade for 12 months and he went onto play for us 43 times. At the end of the season Colin Todd offered him a three-year contract, but he rejected it and signed for Leicester City instead.
